Finding her
own way.

Lila is twenty-four and lives in present-day Paris. She loves old paintings, myths and the cosmos, but she is still discovering what belongs to her own voice.

She makes one painting each month, trying different ways to express what she sees and feels. There is no hurry to arrive at a finished version of herself. She reads in the deep chair, drinks tea and watches Paris; later, a story or a patch of sky finds its way into the paint.
